| As Web Developer you will be working on a range of projects for multiple clients. As we are a connected and highly dynamic team, your role will include multitasking and flexibility. |

Person in PL’s capacity will be expected to set and define processes for development and designing teams. This is a cross functional role and you will have both internal and external client (domestic & international) interactions.. You will need to be experienced in leading and managing an existing team and building the same to ensure best practices, quality assurance and efficiency. |

- Help conceptualize, plan, and monitor features for new and existing web applications
- Technical architecture design and Database design.
- Develop prototypes and implement back end for new database driven websites and web applications
- Work with clients to strategize best solutions
- Work closely with the creative team to integrate solutions into the front end
Provide technical training to team members.
Preferably over 3+ years of relevant experience in the internet application technologies
Support live projects and websites with updates and new features |

- Hands on in design and coding both front end and back end applications.
- Prepare software specifications, high-level architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and test plans.
- Defining project objectives and develop Project Plan & Estimation.
- Periodic review of Project Milestones for ensuring adherence to overall Project plan.
- Define project team organization, allocate and monitor tasks to team members. {Should be able to plan and ensure optimal resource utilization of Hardware, Software, Human Resource, etc.}
- Mentoring and guiding the team members at various phases of project execution. Identifying and keeping up-to-date with latest and evolving open source web technologies and frameworks
- Spearheading and coordinating knowledge transfer sessions on web 2.0 and 3.0 technologies.
Preferably over 2 years of technical project leadership experience |

- Object Oriented PHP 5
- mySQL
- Experience working with CakePHP or similar MVC framework
- django /experience developing web applications in python
- HTML coding
- CSS (hand-coded)
- Javascript/Jquery
- AJAX
- Ability to debug & troubleshoot your own code and existing code base
- Knowledge of Web Standards
- Experience in developing CMS based systems
- Understanding on mashup apps like yahoo pipes and likewise
- Exposure in WordPress Blog software
- CakePHP or MVC frameworks

- Open Source Technologies: SOA; OO PHP5 LAMP / WAMP; database MySQL and PostGreSQL;; knowledge on MVC frameworks like cake PHP; AJAX, HTML, XHTML, Java Script, RIA development and other evolving WEB 2.0 and 3.0 technologies
- Should be an expert on Web Services, E-Commerce, Payment Gateway, and CMS
- BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech
- PMP Certification is a definite plus.
